Rain is restarting his activities in Asia with a fan meeting with members of his official international fan club “The Cloud” at the JCB Hall in Tokyo, Japan on June 30.
According to J Tune Entertainment, Rain’s agency, this fan meeting is to extend Rain’s gratitude to his Asian fans who have been waiting for him ever since he pursued his Hollywood activities. Moreover, activities in Asia, which include a fan meeting in Korea, are in the works.
For those who cannot join or would like to relive the moments during the fan meeting, pictures and videos of the event will be available through a mobile service in Japan.
Meanwhile, Rain is currently in Berlin, Germany filming his movie “Ninja Assassin.”
Last time, i posted that Kim Hyung joong of SS501 would be playing Rui {lei} in the korean version of hana yori dango {boys over flower}, but there has been a misunderstanding about that news. Im sorry about that~
Boys Over Flower production company, Group Eight has said that having SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong in the drama has not been confirmed.
The names of the other actors that are being said in the newspapers have just auditioned and that Group Eight is still having auditions going on. The all of the personalities of the main characters are different so instead of idols they are also looking for good actors.
Since all of the auditioners all want to be in Boys Over Flower, Group Eight is looking for actors and actresses that will make all of Asia satisfied with their drama. The auditions started in April and they are thinking about releasing the official names of the F4 and female lead at the end of July.
In Japan 58,000,000 copies of Boys Over Flower have been sold and it’s a millionseller. And in Taiwan and Japan it even has a season 2. This is a drama everybody is awaiting.
This is be broadcasted at the end of this year in KBS 2TV and will be 24 episodes.
“SM Town Live 2008″ is a large-scale music festival that will last 5 hours. The four cities are Korea (Seoul), China (Beijing & Shanghai), Thailand (Bangkok).
“SM Town Live ‘08″ concert will feature the performances of Girls’ Generation, The Grace, SHINee, Super Junior, TVXQ, and Zhang Li Yin {im hoping this includes Henry and Zhoumi too}. The tour starts off with Seoul on August 15, 2008 from 5 to 10pm at the Olympic Main Stadium, Seoul Korea.

From the show ‘We Got Married’ the ever popular SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong has been casted for the role, Rui {Huaze lei}. Boys Over Flower will be broadcasted at the beginning of next year on KBS. Kim Hyun Joong was the first F4 member to be casted.
They were thinking about Kim Hyun Joong as Rui but weren’t sure. But after watching ‘We Got Married’ they felt that he was going to be able to portray the role of Rui well.
The rest of the F4 are almost done being casted. All of them are from idol groups. But the casting of Tsukushi is proving to be very difficult.
The story of Boys Over Flowers is a poor high school girl and her relationship with the F4.
*Netizens are saying T.O.P. {of Big Bang} has a high chance of playing the role of Tsukasa. Some ELF are saying Shiwon may be suitable for the role of Tsukasa also..^^

Shinhwa member Junjin has recently signed an exclusive 3-year contract worth 500 million won with Open World Entertainment.
Aside from pursuing a solo career in Korea, Junjin is also to be active in Japan and China. The Shinhwa member, who released his solo album in April, also expressed his desire to be recognized as an entertainer and not only as a pop idol.
Meanwhile, Junjin is planned to hold concerts in Korea and China within this year.
According to Kumyoung, Karaoke machine manufacturer and music contents provider, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “If,” which is included in the OST of the KBS series “Hong Gil Dong, the Hero,” was the most sung Karaoke song in the first half of 2008. The second spot was occupied by Park Ji Hun’s “The Day I Miss You.”
As a group, Girls’ Generation’s “Kissing You” and “Girls’ Generation” placed 12th and 28th, respectively. Wonder Girls, its rival, also ranked in the chart. “Tell Me” placed 9th while “This Fool” ranked 44th.
BIG BANG’s “Last Farewell” and “Lie” placed 6th and 16th, respectively. Lee Seung Ki’s “I’ll Give You All” got to 10th place, “You Inside My Memories” grabbed the 31st spot and “Because You’re My Girl” placed 29th. Min Kyung Hoon’s “Sad Fool” ranked 11th in the chart.

I didnt clearly post it on my blog because most people who watched it knows what happened, but if you dont know what happened between the fan clubs, you can just leave a comment and ill explain it to you or you can watch the videos which are also part of the links that i provided. But i think the best thing right now is to just forget it. it happened and there is nothing we can do now, we dont want to cause anymore problems then there is already between the fanclubs..^^
SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment, two big agencies in Korea, have expanded their businesses and ventured into musicals. The music and movie markets have slowed down for the past years while the musical industry has been growing about 30% every year, making the musical business an opportunity for both agencies to expand their businesses.
Today, May 26, a YG Entertainment official revealed that it has partnered with musical production company Seo and Company, which has already produced musicals like “Cats” and “Phantom of the Opera.” In the said partnership, YG plans on having its singers and actors to star in musicals that are being produced by Seol and Company.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment made a press release today stating that SM Art Company, its subsidiary, is going to be in charge of planning and producing musicals. SM Art Company’s first musical project is “Xanadu,” which has Super Junior’s Heechul and Kangin as part of its cast.
Almost 3 years later, Sm entertainment has decided to launch another boy band into the korean music industry.
This 5 member new group goes by the name “Shinee”(pronounced like shiny) meaning “one who receives light”. They are a contemporary group. The idea of this new group is suppose to represent a combined version of Big bang and Ft island. Sm has already started a site for them and fans have gone wild about them leaving many comments of success and happiness. They are age ranged between 15-19 (14-18 in america) and the members are Jonghyun, Key,Onyu, Taemin, and Minho. they will begin their promotions on may 22 with an mini album and a mv along with it.
NOTE: Please dont leave any nasty comments about them. i think people are judging them too quickly and havent given them a chance. They ARE NOT the 2nd version of dbsk! They seem, just from the preview, way different from dbsk and they cant be compared with dbsk, so if youre going to be mean and say shit about them, dont leave any comments at all! at least give them a chance! Suju was believed to be a joke in the beginning and look at how they turn out!

Since information came out that Kim Yong Jun’s exclusive contract with Mnet Media will expire this June, it has been spreading that like Chae Dong Ha, who has now split from the trio, Kim Yong Jun will also be leaving SG Wanna Be. The contract of Kim Jin Ho, the trio’s other original member, is only until December of this year.
Here is what Mnet Media had to say regarding the issue: “In mid-May, we’ll be finally discussing with the members on extending their contracts for 2 or 3 more years. If they decide to go, we won’t hold them back.”
According to Kim Yong Jun, he is really thinking hard on whether he will extend his contract with Mnet Media.
On the other hand, SG Wanna Be finished its concert in Japan last May 8 and will return to Korea on the 11th. SG Wanna Be is scheduled to hold its 5th album nationwide tour starting May 24.
